CHANIA-KOURNAS: The first stop of our tour will be in Souda
bay at the war cemetery and then at Acrotiri at the grave of the Crete’s national hero Eleftherios Venizelos. From
here you can enjoy the spectacular view over the whole old town of Chania. Then
we will continue to Chania, where
you will have enough free time for sight-seeing and shopping. Set around an old
harbour and threaded with cobbled lanes, Chania is one of the Crete’s most
beautiful harbour towns. Next we will drive the Lake of Kournas, Crete’s only sweet water lake. Here you will have
time for relaxing, swimming or a refreshment at a taverna before returning back
to Plakias.
