Ionian Cruise

First stop is for fantastic photos of an outstanding beach on Lefkas. We visit either Porto Katsiki or Egremni which are award-winning white sandy beaches with amazingly crystal clear, turquoise blue waters. Here you have time for a refreshing swim from the boat.

Then we sail on to Kefalonia, where we visit the picturesque village of Fiscardo. Fiscardo was the only village to survive the 1953 earthquake, and now a haunt for writers and artists. Fiscardo and the surrounding area has been designated an area of natural beauty and is protected under Greek law. 

Depending on the time of year, the lunch stop is either here or at our next port of call Kioni, on the beautiful idyllic island of Ithaca, home to the legendary Odysseus. Kioni is a picture postcard pretty, a photographer’s delight and truly unforgettable. Take time to wander the streets and take in the neo-classical buildings. 

Next stop is Meganissi to view the second largest sea cave in Greece – Papanikolis Cave – named after the submarine which sheltered here during the 2nd world war. 

Finally take a look at Skorpios Island and hear the tales of the fabulously wealthy Aristotle Onassis and his family. Take the opportunity to having one more swim before returning to Nidri.
