You chance to discover the hidden treasures of the Ionian,  the two islands of Paxos and Anti Paxos.

Cruise the Ionian sea on the boat Zanadu and see for yourself why Greece  tried to hide away these islands and keep them to themselves.

As you set off from Corfu port and head south you will cruise past Garitsa bay, Mon Repo Palace the birth palace of Prince Philip, Pontikonisi - mouse island and much, much more.  While marveling at the view to compliment your cruise there's a small bar on board where drinks and snacks can be brought.

The Ancient Greek history describes the god Neptune smashing his trident so hard on the south part of Corfu he broke a section off, this creating  what we now call Paxos.  He then used this as a secret hideaway for this beloved Amphitrite, some say he would only have the best for his beloved.

The first stop the captains make is in front of the beach of Anti Paxos.  This is something words cannot  do justice.   Many compare here to the Caribbean, with  clear crystal waters it is simply divine and diving in can not be resisted the beach here has the white sand another reason why its compared to the Caribbean  Enough time is spent here for people to swim to the beach if they wish or sit back and watch others cool off in the waters.  After here it only gets better, if that's possible.  The captain will cruise around the island taking in other spectacular parts of the island , the Blue Caves  where the colours of the waters vary from blue to emerald and not forgetting the vertical cliffs and the sheer drops into the sea.

The final stop where a little more relaxing can be done is the island of Paxos.  Into Gaois the capital of the island, the port side lined with its café bars and quaint traditional tavernas await you.  Meander the cobbled streets in the village here its where you find the old stone houses, old churches and a olive tree or three.  If you get the chance to buy wine or olive oil from the island snap up the chance its said to be the best this side of Greece. With the Island being only 4 miles by 8 miles you could even travel to the other resorts Lakka or Logos minutes apart but all very different in appearance.

As your day comes to the end you cruise once again through the Ionian sea. Corfu town gives you a warm welcome back and opportunity to capture the impressive scenery of the Venetian building lining the capital.

Remember on this day out to take swim wear, plenty of sun cream, water, money and certainly don't forget your camera.
