We will arrive at Camp Nou Football Stadium, an obligatory stop off point for anyone visiting Barcelona, this stadium is considered to be one of the biggest of its kind in the world, with a seating capacity of 98,000 spectators. The Barcelona FC museum is the second most visited museum in the city receiving 2:5 million visitors each year. This tour will give you the chance to see such areas as the away team dressing rooms, the trophy room, the press room and the commentators box. You will also enjoy the chance to see the player’s tunnel, dugouts and pitch areas. In the museum you have interactive wall spaces, large scale audio visual displays and and extensive display of memorabilia to help you understand why FC Barcelona is 'mes que un club', More than a Club. You will have 2 hours of free time at the stadium to explore and stop to look at your favourite things there. When our visit to the stadium is finished, we then begin our panoramic tour of the city of Barcelona. You will see the famous Olympic Ring, used in 1992 when the city hosted the Olympic Games. You will be taken to the top of the mountain of Montjuic to take in the wonderful aerial views of the city and its port. You will travel through the Port area of the city, which are always so lively and colorful. Then we begin our visit to the wonderful Holy Family Temple, the calling card of the city of Barcelona. Designed by the world reknowned architect, Antonio Gaudi. You will be taken on a walk of the exterior of the building where you will learn of the symbolism, magic and mystery of this unique temple. One hundred years work has already been carried out here, completion is dated for 2026. It is certainly an opportunity to see history in the making. Later you will travel to the city centre, but not before admiring the beautiful Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, also jewels in the crown of Antonio Gaudi. You will travel down the Golden Mile or Paseo De Gracia with its designer shops and famous jewellers before arriving at the city centre. Here you will have some free time in the city centre to sightsee, shop or dine as you please.
The final part of our evening ends when it takes us to the area of Montjuic, at the Magic Fountain Show. This show is a wonderful display of synchronized water, music and light. One of Barcelona’s main attractions, it dates back from 1929 when it was first shown during the 1929 International Exhibition and it proves just as popular today as it was then. A unique and magical event and a wonderful way to finish a very special day in the City of Barcelona. Today we see the city by day and also by night, when it most enchants.
