Every Sunday & Thursday. Want a holiday within a holiday? Then look no further than a superb day out exploring Zantes sister island and neighbour, the beautiful Kefalonia. The largest of the Ionian islands and the film set of 'Captain Corellli's Mandolin' Kefalonia rises high from the clear blue seas forming some of the most dramatic mountainous backdrops and stunning coastlines at every turn. Behind its striking and impressive front however, lie some of Kefalonias hidden gems; including the Melisanni Lake and cave. Hop on a small boat and sail in the crystal clear lake into the caves themselves which is sure to wow and provide fantastic photo opportunites. Not to be done over however, the Drogarati Caves prove even more spectacular. Estimated to be around 150 million years old, you can explore the depths and extraordinary formations of this historical beauty.  Kefalonia isnt just about mountains and caves however, the stunning white sands nestled between the huge mountainous backdrop and shores of the Ionian at Myrtos Beach prove why this is the most famous and popular beach on the island - and one certainly the beach lovers will agree with!  Those with a keen interest in history will also enjoy the visit to the monestery of St. Gerassimos, the patron saint of the island and the chance to spend some time in Argostoli, the islands capital with its traditional charm, main square and a great place to grab those souvenirs and memories of this wonderful island. Things to remember:-118 Steps at Drogarati cave to walk down, then obviously up, so comfortable walking shoes. Swimwear, towels, hat, sunscreen and money. Change money before tour, as no money exchange en route. Included - Round trip boat tickets - Transfers to/from resorts - Tour escort. Not included - Lunch - Entrance fees Drogarati Cave & Melissani Lake - Drogarati Cave entrance fee 4€ Euro and Melissani Lake entrance fee 6€ (prices may change)
