Situated further South on the island is the small but bustling resort of Kantiang Bay. Best known for its spectacular scenery as large parts reside in the hillside and on the edge of the rainforest. There is a 1 km, white sandy beach with a number of good restaurants and bars dotted along. Not really a place for partying but it does have a few late night spots you can enjoy the views from while sipping on a fresh Thai cocktail.
Kantiang bay is a perfect family resort with accommodation to suit all standards. This also hosts the only 5 star resort on the island.
