Vilamoura is a more than just a swish Marina town on the Algarve. Yes it does boast one of the finest marinas in Europe occupied by some really expensive yachts and it does have the feeling of a rather exclusive resort because of this. If you like seafood, you are in for a treat here as the marina has truly exquisite seafood restaurant, plenty of bars, a couple of clubs and a casino if you are feeling lucky. It is is one of the best golfing areas in the whole of Europe with some stunning courses which of course makes it rather popular with badly dressed overweight middle aged golfers.
