Valmorel is one of our favourite ski resorts in France. A quick hop from Chambery and only 2 hours from Geneva, it's easy to reach and has great range of accommodation with ski in ski out on most of the village. The town centre is picture postcard pretty with plenty of shops, bars and wonderful restaurants to choose from. It's also traffic free so great for families with kids so you can tow them on sledges through the centre of the village. There's heaps of skiing too with plenty of runs to suite all abilities.
