The road that makes a loop around the lagoon of Lefkada town also has a blue flag beach, meaning clean waters and unspoiled beauty. Due to the geography of Lefkada this area also has a wind coming from the north west which makes it bearable in high season. The guaranteed breeze makes it excellent for kite flyers and those crazy kite surfers. This area is where the locals go whilst we all invade the popular beaches. There are old windmills to prove the point about the wind but, today its the perfect "quite beach." The videos taken where in high season, mid august and as you can see they are so much quieter than the main beaches that you find when researching Lefkada. Just don't tell everyone about them!
