The famous weekly Hippie Market is a firm favourite with tourists. It's held every Wednesday from May to October in the grounds of the holiday club Punta Arabí in Es Cana, near Santa Eulalia. You'll find various "hippie" goods such as batik shawls, Asian jewellery, leather moccasins and incense burners. Look carefully and you may even spot some of the original hippies who arrived here in the sixties (rather more grey than groovy these days). Hang on to your wallet because this is also a popular spot for pickpockets.
